Our Park complies with the various regulations currently in force and so it operates under a licence granted by the North Somerset Council. Netherdale is partly sloping, partly terraced and partly level, it is well drained and some shade is offered by mature trees and hedges. The grass is regularly cut to lawn height. The rear boundary of Netherdale adjoins the wooded lower slopes of the Mendip Hills while in the opposite direction, there are extensive views over a beautiful green valley - and through the gaps in another range of hills are glimpses of the Bristol Channel and the Welsh mountains beyond. We have discovered that a significant proportion of our visitors are return customers, verifying that we have found an ideal blend of facilities at reasonable cost. Although we don't offer nightly entertainment, swimming pools or a sandy beach at your door, they are all - and much more besides - only a short drive away. There is a bus stop at our entrance - or simply enjoy what can be discovered within walking distance! Situated in the heart of the West Country there is so much to see that return visits become almost a necessity!
Netherdale extends over about five acres and a large portion of the park has been designated as a Play Area for children, keeping them safely away from moving vehicles. Mains water is piped to conveniently placed taps; waste water gullies and a chemical toilet disposal point are provided. The Amenities Block is kept spotlessly clean and there is ample provision of toilets, separate urinals, individual wash-basins, large shower cubicles, deep sinks for washing dishes, electric razor points and mirrors. Lighting is provided at night. We have electric hook-up points available for caravans, motorhomes and tents. Tumble-drying facilities are available, as is a freezer-pack facility and Calor gas supplies.
